no one has this issue? I did a restart on my of with iTunes it worked but now after last connect is off again. $500 for an app that has bugs is annoying would appreciate a fix.

I started having this same issue as well. Every time I sync my time zone resets to Chicago(which is not my time zone) and the time, day and month are way off. Anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix for this? I am updated to 2.0.2 on my Touch and iTunes is updated to 7.7.1 .
Sadly, the $300 iPod Touch can't remember what date and time it is. I've been struggling with this since I bought mine in January. All the software is up to date. I've tried the suggestions posted here in numerous threads (sync'ing after starting iTunes, vice versa, etc, etc). I travel and like to use the Touch as my alarm clock, but unless I double check before going to bed, I can't trust it.
I still have working watches from my daughter's Happy Meals, but the Touch just can't take the lickin' - or keep on tickin'.

That's strange, I have always had the time and date problem up until the 2.0 update. It's worked fine since then. The problem for me was that the time a date would go to 6:00 and it would go to the Chicago time zone. At first I thought it was random but then I noticed it only happened during enhanced podcast whenever the chapter would change. I have had 3 different iPod Touch's all with the same problem. It's weird that you would bring this up because I couldn't find anyone with this problem before 2.0.
