View Full Version : iPod Touch 2.0 doesn't see iTunes
Hi everyone, so I upgraded my touch and it is great, but my iTunes at work won't recognize it anymore and I have all the current updates on that mac. Here at home, no problem. Do I need to restore it? Not sure what to try, so I'm open to any advice anyone may have.
Thanks!

Have you iTunes recognized your iPod before? And do you have the latest version of iTunes on that computer?
The only thing I can think of is that the computer that won't recognize it doesn't have USB 2.0 ports, or you're not connecting it to a USB 2.0 port.
Yep, it is all up to date, has USB 2.0 as well. It's a Mac Pro, quad core.
Any other ideas? Thanks!

Hmm that's strange.
Only thing i could recommend would be to reinstall itunes on the Mac, and restore the iPod.
Someone else might have a better solution though, so wait on that.
Re-installed iTunes and it is now working perfectly.
Thanks Shrimpy.

No problem.
Usually, when an iPod or iTunes are acting buggy, a reset or reinstall solves the problem.
yeah. Funny thing I even tried deleting the prefrences and that didn't work. That usally fixed slot of software issues.
