Touch Backing Up Every Time I Sync?

Hi,

I just updated to iTunes 7.7 and Touch 2.0 and now every timw I sync, iTunes backs up my entire library every time. My 16GB Touch is almost full, so it takes 15 minutes to back up every time I sync.

Are there any settings on either the Touch or iTunes which will stop this? It takes up too much time to back up every time I sync.

Itunes backs up not only your library, but you calendars, contacts , apps and app info as well.

To make your syncs faster you can:
1. Connect your Touch
2. After it loads up in iTunes, select it under devices on the left.
3. Select the 'INFO' tab and uncheck all the blocks.
4. Click the 'Applications' tab, and select only the Apps you know you will use.

Basically, the more apps you have, the longer it will take to back-up. You can also turn off photo sync or tv shows if you don't watch those on your touch.
