Let's get a little action on this forum... when will an update to 2.0 be released?
I say Friday (7/18).
[EDIT] For clairty, I am referring to a 2.0.x update, not a 3.0.

I honestly doubt that do you think apple even cares? They got our money for the update, look at what happened on friday. History repeats itself. Especially with applesoft. Im thinking atleast a couple of weeks if not a month. Maybe if we all send them feedback they will do it sooner i dont know.

The 2.0 OS just came out less than a week ago, I am sure that Apple isn't even looking at updating the OS (or firmware) as they are too busy making sure the OS can be purchased by everyone. Now they might update the iPod touch a month from now but that is the soonest I see it happening.

Are you talking about 3.0 or bug fixes to 2.0? Because a new update was available before the 3G was even in stores. You will probably see another one within a week or so. As far as 3.0...probably another year before you will see that.

Why not wait until the Touch comes with the update already on it? Or in your language: Y nt jsu wat untl toch comz wit da updt alredy onit?

I am with kornchild2002 on this. They're probably already working on the updates, but I doubt anything will be released for the next couple of months.
