Super Monkey Ball's Difficulty on the iPod Touch... [Archive]

I was planning on buying Super Monkey Ball later for my iPod, but I was reading some reviews that said it is a very hard game to control. I was just wondering, is it really that bad?

I found it quite hard at the start but you eventually get used to it, but it is very sensitive and can't be played easily on a bus...

I still haven't passed level 7. It's practically impossible to pass. The slightest move sends the monkey out of control! But I'm getting more and more used to it. I got THIS close to passing level 7 this one time. Lol! And another thing that will hopefully be fixed is that it doesn't save the level you left off on. So you have to start at level one each and every time. :(

I'd still say it's worth it though. It's really fun, and the graphics are really great!

Same here. Except I haven't even gotten close to passing level 7. I always fall of the first platform w/out a bumper.

I got the second world but then my ipod would no longer let me open the app so I lost all the data reinstalling it...:(

Level 9 on the second world is really hard as well though!

Thanks for the responses. I decided to buy the game and though it is difficult, it is so much fun!

Ugh, Yeah, Level Seven is extremely hard. I wish it was easier to control.

Level 7 is so so so hard! I don't think I will be able to get past it for a reallly long time.:(

Its Not Impossible I Saved It!!! After You Beat Lvl 10 On Easy On Monkey Island, It Autosaves!!!!!! Im On The Second Stage!!!!! Woohooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it was hard, and it took me at least 50 lives, but now i can beat it = ). the key is to go slow
