iPhone Usage numbers

Just a quick question from a canadian who is looking at finally being able to get an iphone.

As I am sure everyone has heard of the data plans that are being offered by rogers, (starting at 400mb for $60:eek: ); I have a question about how much usage people that have the iphone actually go through.

I realize that usage will go up with the new iPhone features, but am wondering in an average month, what kind of data do you typically go through, and how much voice usage.

Just today, Rogers announced a 6GB data plan option that makes me wonder what the average use is on the current iphone.

It's not an iPhone, but I use around 75MB a month with my 8525. I can see how that would increase if I were to download stuff from iTunes, or was able to view YouTube or other videos.

Thanks Cochese. That gives me some idea of another "smart phone" usage anyway. i curreently just have a plain old cell phone, not even a camera on it, so I don't really have any idea what the data usage would be on the iphone but I imagine that it could be more than I would expect. Especially with a link into exchange, apple's mobileme service, gps, etc.

I guess nobody else uses the data.
