i know the iphone doesn't have mms but i was wondering if it could recieve them from someone else. my other question is with the bluetooth can you send and recieve pictures and stuff using it. any help appreciated

In short, no, to both of your questions.
The iphone can receive MMS per se, but only by clicking a link that "view my message" which then uses the Safari web browser to take you to an AT&T site. You then use this site to login using the login and password that AT&T provided you with. I have found that pictures load ok, but GIF's and other MMS specific content doesn't work. The workaround is garbage really.
With bluetooth you can only sync up with a bluetooth headset for hands free calling. No connecting to a PC or other phones.
