iPhone Accessories Work with iPhone 3G?

I'm planning on getting my first iPhone in about a week and after google searches and looking around this forum, I can't find the answer to this question.

Will first generation iPhone cases, screen protectors, and leather belt cases (not sure what they are called) work with the iPhone 3G?

Also, would you guys have any recommendations for good online stores for cases and screen protectors? A place with a lot of selection?

Yes, there already have iphone 3G accessories, such as screen protector, silicon case, leather case, crystal case, I do not know how to show pictures on the forum, otherwise, I would like to show them here.

Some accessories will work, others won't. A screen protector would work, since the screen is the same size. A fitted silicone case would not, because the beveled edges of the 3G iPhone would prevent the openings on the case from matching up. However, a leather pouch type case would work since the 3G is only .02" thicker than the original.

Look around, as a lot of stores are discounting 2G iPhone accessories.

I'm curious if other third party accessories will work with the 3G, namely griffin's tunebuds mobile and other earbuds which were specially fitted for the recessed headphone jack of the first generation iphone.

Since the new jack is flush, any standard 3.5mm earphones will work.

well I know they'll connect per se, but I was more wondering about the functionality - such as the mic and track next functions. I'd imagine the triple shielding on the current iphone would be the same, but I guess we won't know till it ships.
