I just bought these Denon AH-C351 for $50 at Target but i have not opened them and I am thinking about taking them back after I read some reviews online. I saw the Sony EX85LP earbuds at Best Buy for $10 more. I listen to a lot of Hip-Hop and the Denons seem to be for clear sound and not a lot of bass. Anyway if anyone has any experience with these or any recommendations besides these 2 that I could find in a retail store for around $40-60 please tell me.

Thanks

The White Sony EX85s (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDREX85LP-WHI-Soft-earbud/dp/B000PCF79W/ref=wl_it_dp?ie=UTF8&coliid=I2KJMYT4YXPS6K&colid=2QTRDX76FJCHJ) are selling for $38.68 on Amazon.com. The black ones are $42.36.

u'd probably enjoy the sonys more if u like bass
be aware although they look like ear plugs the sony design is more "open" headphone aka less noise isolation and it leaks sound pretty mcuh. so don't use it in public in quiet places. regular in ear headphones are better at noise isolation.

The MDR-EX85's are great-the shape of them is unusal, but you'll get used to them.

If bass isn't important, try out the Denon AH-C351.

I actually own the Denons and the Sony ex90, which are basically the same. I like the Denons better. The sound is much better and louder. You will have to turn down your ipod if you use them. The sonys came with a nice case, which the Denons do not.
