Was thinking about giving it to a friend for like 80$ and were both wondering if it still works. Nothing is mentioned on it about this situation of it going bad or anything so whats up? Thanks guys. Im talking about the one that early iphone users got.

Read the fine prints on the coupon.
U mean u STILL have it?!! These things usually have expiration date u know.

Look at the coupon. As I remember it, the rebate expired a few months after it was issued. My guess is that you're SOL.

foudn a check card balance and it seemed to work and give me a 100$ credit when I checked the balance.

In some states (e.g., California), expiration dates on rebates or credits are generally illegal.

Call an Apple store up, why ask us? They would have the best information for you. Even if you have to call out of your city or even to another state.
