i just sold my iphone, so i took out the sim and put it in an old moto razor that i had. When i go to get the new iphone don't they only allow new customers or current iphone customers to get the iphone. how will they know if i have the iphone?

should/can i just bring in the sim card? is it still on file as me having the iphone?

thanks

Your best thing to do would be to call an AT&T store to see what they say. As of right now things with upgrades are ambiguous in some areas. After July 11 a lot of things will become more clear.

This is purely a guess but if you didn't change your plan and still have the data plan you should be able to upgrade for the $199/$299 price. But again, I would just call.

If you kept the data plan, you should be fine. If you didn't, very good chance you'll pay the $200 more.

i didn't touch my account/plan at all. i just switched the sim card. Can i just bring in my SIM card? I heard at&t gives you a new sim card anyway is this true?

The iPhones should come with new SIM cards and if you didn't change anything about your plan, you'll get the subsidized price.
