I was wondering if I can use the same car charger on an ipod mini as on a normal 3g ipod?

Yes, they both use the same firewire dock connector on the bottom, so a charger for a 3G iPod will work just fine with an iPod Mini too.

I'm gona order a mini from the US but I need an European charger so I thought this could be a cheap sollution

why not just buy a travel adaptor (not from apple because they are a ripoff) and you can then use the US charger that comes with the Mini?

Yeah they're only like $10 U.S. at some local stores..
