I've purchased my ipod touch yesterday.
much confused..
how to ssh ipod?
i've install winscp and entered correct username-pw=hostname and clicked on login but error:
"network error- connection refused"
I've not done any modification except adding music to my ipod through itunes till now..
i've not jailbroken my ipod..nothing like installer in my ipod touch.
And i dont know excatly wht is it and how to do? if it is needed to do ssh?
Please guide me everything step by step from start..
I'll be happier if my problem solves.
Thanks.

In order to install SSH on the Touch, dont you need to jailbreak? In order to install anything, dont you need to JB? Untill next month anyway.....

Its up to you. Apple is going to release a software upgrade sometime next month ( I think thats when ) and with this upgrade you will be able to purchase apps from the App Store, and install those apps on your Touch. Some of the apps will be free, not yet sure how many.

WHAT IS SSH?

SSH = Secure SHell - It allows you to transfer files to/from your iPod Touch and also allows you to send commands to the iPod Touch (e.g., Unix shell commands for the iPod TouchOS from your desktop).
And yes it does require you to be jailbroken.
