Email icon shows new mail that isn't there

My email icon shows that I have one new email, but there is no email in the inbox folder. Is there a way to reset the email icon? http://forums.ilounge.com/images/smilies/confused.gif

And a related question: how can I delete all my emails in trash

Not sure on your first one...are you sure there are no unread messages in all your folders, including the trash?

To delete emails in the trash, at the moment you have to delete them one by one. However, the 2.0 firmware, a $9.95 update coming either later this month or in July, should allow this.

thanks, Cameron. -- I am deleting all my trash to make sure there isn't one there that is "unread" by accident. Hope that will clear up the icon.

nope, didn't do the trick. I have nothing in either inbox, sent, or trash... yet still the icon shows 1 new message. -- HD

Problem solved: Somehow I managed to create an additional Google Gmail account, and it had a new message in. - Sorry, for wasting bandwidth here. - Am still learning. -- HD
