a few times when my pc has crashed or i rebuilt it, i forgot to deactivate my itunes account first. now is says i cannot activate my itunes store account because i have it activated on too many machines. currently, i have no machines activated. really all i want to do is use the get album art function because i dont want to find the album art for like 20000000 albums. i tried to find a email support page or anything that would help on apple's site and found nothing. anyways, any help would be appreciated...

Apple allows you to once per year deauthorize all machines that are authorized. If you have 5 machines authorized, you've reached the limit. Go into your iTunes account (in the iTunes store, click your name in the upper right hand corner) and there should be a button that lets you deauthorize all computers.

If you don't have that button, you don't have 5 machines authorized, and you will need to email apple for help.

www.apple.com/support is the support site and should have links to contact them directly if you still need help.

Note that you can only do a "Deauthorize all" once per year.
