Ok well I've searched and searched this forum and Googled everything I could think of and no luck. I see people talking about it but no solutions. I just got my iPod Touch in the mail. I plugged it in to my comp and synced it with my itunes. I read that you have to do that before you can buy anything on the WiFi Store. I unplugged it and it showed my email address at the bottom that is linked to my account.

When I go to purchase a song it acknowledges that I purchased it and starts to download. It gets all the way to finishing up the download and then says something like this "unable to finish download and song will complete the download when logged in to itunes". I tried reseting the ipod and syncing it again and no luck.

Any ideas on whats wrong and how I can get the Wifi Store to download songs completely???

Thanks

So I've been searching all night and only thing I've found that might be a problem is they say the iPhones and iPod Touchs had an issue with the shift key always staying on CAPS and therefore causing the download to not work when entering in your iTunes account info. Has anyone had this problem?

Does this happen every time, with every song you download on the touch?

Do you have enough free space on the touch?

If you haven't already, in iTunes you can go to Store->Check for purchases to finish the downloads.

Its been synced with my itunes so that it could register my account but I didnt move any music to it yet. And yes it does it with every song I try to purchase. Yeah I saw that I could the check for purchases option but that defeats using the WiFi Store for downloads.

Really, it sounds like this might be a wireless issue. Have you tried doing this over various Wifi networks to see if the problem happens on ALL networks?

No I'll have to try on a different network to see if thats the problem. I have another iPod Touch coming in the mail today and I'm going to see what it does. I just got this one yesterday and the wife already snagged it up so I havent got to mess with it.

Got my other iPod Touch in today and got it all setup. I'm able to search the WiFi Music Store, purchase and download songs to the Touch with no problems.

There has to be some kind of settings off on the other Touch. I guess I'll have to compare them side by side on all the settings.
