JBL Creature Question

Hi,

I recently purchased an Ipod-white JBL Creature 2.1 speaker system. . . and I have this problem : there is a humming sound/noise when I connect the input cable to my Ipod Dock while the Ipod is charging. I remove the cable from the charger and the noise disappears.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem and what was done to fix it ?

Another question :
Why is the total number of songs on my WinXP Itunes different from my IPOD after I have automatically synched it? I have already deleted all the streaming song samples that Itunes played and added to the library.

Yes, i have this exact problem with my iPod and my JBL Creature speakers. I get a low humming from the sub woofer i believe, very odd. I guess no one else is experiencing this.
