iPod Touch - Playing Up..

Hey

I just bought an iPod Touch, put all my music on it and started using it, the next day (today..) I plugged it into my laptop and tried to play some music off it through itunes.

I couldnt click on any of the songs, i think it might be because I plugged it into a friends macbook earlier today to charge it

All the songs are there, I can listen to them on my iPod but, I cant delete them or play them. I can sync my iPod to add music on.. but thats about it

Also i've tried restoring it.. didnt work.

Any ideas?

Probably because your set to sync the songs, instead of manual manage, and when you sync you cant play from the device...(as far as I remember I could be wrong, I havent synced any devices in forever, I manually manage...hahaha sorry sounds funny)

When the iPod is set to sync, everything is greyed out on the iPod in iTunes. If you manually manage it, I think everything becomes clickable.
