Permissions issues

I've had my iPod touch for about two weeks and have had no issues until I had to restore my computer. Now every time i try to sync my iPod it says that I don't have sufficient permissions to write to the disk. I went to my music folder and made sure the permissions were set so that I could read write and modify the whole folder, but nothing. So I have no clue what to do. You guys have any advice?

Are you an administrator on the computer you're trying to use? I don't know if you are on a Windows machine or a Mac.
