Need some advice please :)

Hey guys

Im thinking of getting an iPod Touch within the next few weeks as im going away in early July and the hotel im staying at has free wifi so I reckon the touch could come in handy. I havent had the best luck when buying iPods, every time I buy a new one within a few weeks a newer upgraded model is released. this has happened to me twice now and im trying to avoid it happening again.

Ive heard of the rumours that we might be getting a new ipod touch model released in a few months.. of course, if this is true then it leaves me with the decision whether I should buy an iPod Touch now, or hang on in there and just wait a while. But then again, it makes me wonder.. what could actually be added to a new ipod touch model that would be worth waiting for? I mean apart from new software and firmware upgrades which I guess could be added to any kind of iPod touch or iPhone, is their any piece of hardware or itouch addition that is worth me waiting for or is it best just to go and get the iTouch now at a good price.

Simple, if you really want it, buy it. Life cannot revolve around having the latest and greatest in my opinion.

No one really knows what a new update will hold in store for us. So if you want one buy it, if youre skeptical, then dont.

Theres three levels of the touch available now, choose the best and you have the best for now. I seriously doubt you will get teased because your ipod touch is not the latest model come Christmas time....And you're not the only one with bad luck when Apple updates products, we all have that problem, it affects everyone. Buy and be happy or continue sitting on the sidelines like a backup QB for the Patriots.

Or just wait (however long that is) for the next iPod Touch release and BUY IMMEDIATELY so you have the latest and greatest at that moment. But that will fade and next year a newer model will come out. Shampoo, rinse and repeat.

There will ALWAYS be something new. The more you wait and wait and wait and hold off and hold off, you'd be dead before you decide to buy anything. :D

The iPod touch will probably be updated in September. But my guess is that it won't be ahuge update. Maybe like 802.11n and a 64 gb model and price drops. And with the 2.0 software, the current
model won't be outdated anytime soon :)
