Is there a way to set my iPod Touch to automatically connect to any unsecure wifi network it comes across? I know it can connect to ones ive already connected to, but I want it to find a network and connect to it, with out me having previously used it.
Is this possible?

If you go into your WiFi preferences, there should be an option to "Ask to Join Networks"
This isn't quite the same thing, as it will not join a network without you selecting it, but at least you'll be prompted with a pop-up box whenever non-secured networks are available, and you can therefore pick one on the fly.
