my unlocked iphone wont allow me to access wifi anymore, the option is greyed out and wont even allow me to try to get into the wifi menu. This just happened all of a sudden, any clues how to get this to work again??

Let me guess, you used ZiPhone? This is a known problem, and the iPhone Dev Team has released a fix for this at http://wikee.iphwn.org/sgold_bootrom:fixwifi. It does require the BootNeuter tool, and since I am on Mac, I am not sure if it is installed by ZiPhone. I hope this link helps, but you may end up having to re-lock the phone, and get rid of what ZiPhone, or whatever program you used, did.
If you are on Windows than I hear iLiberty is good, otherwise use the iPwnage tool from the iPhone Dev Team to unlock the phone.
