Just bought my iphone today and noticed that some of the sites that I listen to streamed music or videos to do not work. Instead it shows a little blue box in the place of the player. Is there any way around this at all?

the site uses a plugin that your iphone's browser doesn't have, probably flash. there is some talk of the flash plugin coming out with the new firmware, but it has not been confirmed.

or seeqpod which lets you basically search and listen to any song on your iPhone.

As far as the browser in its current state, its basically a text HTML reader. Not very useful in todays web 2.0 world. These days so many sites use rich media that its pointless to not have flash.

When it comes out, which may or may not be June 9, it will be through iTunes on the check for updates tab when you plug your phone in.
