Maybe I'm impressed easily, but OH, MY GOD! Sorry if this has been posted already but I found it incredibly...awesome.
It was quite easy too. For those that don't know, Orb is an application you can get on your iPhone by jailbreaking it, you can read more about Orb itself at http://www.orb.com
It played everything! Even my Zune DRM and Watermarked music (especially since I downloaded all that music with a Zune Pass...) I recommend it. Now. :D

I used their beta release and I was not impressed. Maybe it was only because it was a beta or something, but it was exceptionally slow and battery intensive. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is an app to stream your personal music library to iPhone from a home computer right?

Yes it is. I really haven't used it extensively to see if it drains my battery excessively.

so is it pretty fast now? How much does it cost?

It's all free. I would say it goes pretty fast, it was glitchy at first, but I just restarted by phone and it was working somewhat flawlessly.
I (and even the app itself tells you) would recommend Wi-Fi, but it works with EDGE too, it just takes longer for the song to start. A couple seconds more.

if you've jailbroken your iphone, you can install orblive which makes orb much better. rather than try to rehash the difference, check this link: http://www.orb.com/en/orblive.

ORB live seems awesome! What cool things they are bringing to the iphone. I can't wait until the 9th though when we get actual certified apps. =)
It won't be the ninth, let me tell you.

OK PG4g, I was more referring to the dawn of the application distribution process. Thanks for the technical insight though.
