Will the iPhone browser get any quicker?

I would have thought that Safari would be a bit faster loading websites after updates, but I haven't seen any improvements at all. I mostly use Safari with a wifi connection, but am dissapointed how slow pages load sometimes.

yea. It seems to be a little slower than a laptop on the same connection.

Just try surfing with the Nintendo DS Opera web browser. You would think mobile Safari was a scorcher for sure!

I think the problem isn't Safari though. Its the hardware I think. Granted the iPhone / Touch hardware probably could render faster should Apple software engineers allow it. However that would likely be at the expense of draining your battery quicker. Its a balancing act really.
