Hey folks,
Recently bought the iPhone, it's 1.1.4.
I have this very weird problem, if I insert the headset into the iPhone in one continuous flow, without any pause, the mic button seems to work perfectly. I can play/pause and forward music without any problems.
But if I insert the headphone slowly into the jack, i.e., if I delay the last click of the headphone into the jack, the mic button does not work. Weirdly enough, if I keep my iPhone idle for a minute, the mic button starts working again.
This has really baffled me, I don't even think it's a hardware problem, more like some really weird glitch in the iPhone.
I thought the mic button as a whole was not working when inserting the headphone into the jack slowly, but then I tried calling people and that works perfectly.
What your take on the problem? Is this normal?
