ok, my settings are in a language other than English. This is a problem, seeing as I am a 16 year old kid that can only read Greek and English.
How do I change it back to English? I've tried switching languages, it just stays on the last language switched to, except for English.
os just to get what you did you change the lang to somthing you can not read ???

Well assuming you can get to general settings. The 4th one down is "International" and on that menu, the top thingy is the language selector.
Assuming yours works the same way as mine.

Yeah, that didn't work. I even tried switching languages and switching back to English but nothing works.

Here's Apple's instructions (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60956):
Disconnect your iPod from your computer, then press the Menu button until the menu title says "iPod," regardless of the language displayed. This means you are at the main menu.
Scroll down to the last menu option but don't select it.
Scroll up one menu item. This should be Settings
Press the Center (Select) button. This takes you to the Settings menu
Scroll down to the last menu option but don't select it; in English, this is the "Reset All Settings" option
Scroll up to the third menu item from the bottom one. This should be Language
Press the Center button to select Language
Select your preferred language from the list
. . .
If the instructions above don't enable you to change the language on your iPod, try using the "Reset All Settings" option at the bottom of the Settings menu. If the Reset All Settings option does not work, you can restore your iPod back to factory condition and reselect the display language.
