I'm adding a Mac Mini-based carputer to my car. I want to add an iPhone dock to the car's console for charging from/syncing with the Mac Mini.
Is there any way to get the iPhone's audio (from phone calls) to play through the Mac Mini (which will be attached to AUX port on head unit)?
I know I can run a cable from the iPhone's headphone jack and connect it to car audio's AUX jack, but I'd like to use only the USB cable from the iPhone dock to the Mac Mini, for a cleaner, pseudo-wireless look.
Any ideas?
Would Bluetooth allow this?
