So, another of those questions which has been asked a milion times before me: how do I get songs from my iPod to my PC?

I've searched the whole wide net for answers and I found 2 options: downloading a program who does that for me, or work with hidden files from my iPod etc.
I've tried both. I've been busy all day downloading programs. The ones I had to buy for did work, but since I had to work with free trials, only half of the songs are now on my computer. I've reached the limit, so now I've got to pay, what I don't want.
I've also tried to copy manual from my iPod, working with the hidden files. But the problem is (which is also the problem with the free programs I tried to use), when I swith my iPod settings to 'manual manage music and video's' (which is supposed to have the same effect as when I swith on the 'Enable disk modus', right?), because somehow 'Enable disk modus' is no option I can chose, my computer can't find my iPod. iTunes can, but my iPod isn't visible in the list in My Computer as a Portable Media Device. So that kinda seems to be the problem, that I somehow can't use my iPod as a storage device.

Please help me, I'm almost so desperate I could actually BUY a program that DOES work...

If you search the forums, you'll find dozens of answers to your question. Long story short - the iPod Touch does NOT support Disk Mode, so no program that uses that method to manage music will work. You need to find applications which specifically state the work with the iPhone and/or iPod Touch. I know the ones from Findley Design work, although they are commercial applications.

I recently tried this software called touch copy its works really well with the iPod touch. It is one of three softwares on the market that work with the iPod touch. This one also allows the disk mode. I would suggest this one out of the three because they have good customer and tech support. Also offer a 30 day money back guarantee.
