ok, so you know how you get the "favorite" icons that are on the bottom no matter which home page you are on?

yea, well in photos of the ipod touch it has this background(the glass like bottom)

well my ipod touch has teh one the iphone has(carbon fiber-ish)

Which brings me to my question...is there any way to get the glossy background instead of the carbon fiber-ish one i currently have??:confused:

Nope - Apple changed the dock at the bottom with the firmware 1.1.3 upgrade. There's no way to get it back except to go back to 1.1.2 or earlier.

Im guessing they changed it because the reflections of the buttons don't change, so when you move something like the calculator to the dock in 1.1.3 + you would get a purple itunes reflection under it.

oh got it. i guess i can live with the carbon fiber-ish look

Yeah, I was a bit disappointed when they took the reflection away. It looked pretty classy and set it apart from the iPhone.
