It says 14 days so that means you have 14 days to return it. Simple as that. You will have to pay a restocking fee as well.

I recommend taking it back, honestly.

The new one will come out very soon.

This isn't so much rumor any more all the companies associated with Apple have said they will be moving to 3G very soon. Apple just likes to keep its mouth shut tight.

Does anyone know how much the restocking fee is?
I've had my iPhone a week and I'm going to return it.
TIA

I am pretty sure the fee is 10%.

So, what are you going to do for a phone, in the meantime? Anybody that tells you the 3g iphone is being released at WWDC is either lying, or he will shortly be fired by Steve. Actually. the phone could be released any day from tomorrow until the last day of the year. Plus, will the new iPhone be released in the states, or just overseas? Has ATT rolled out enough coverage to even want the new iPhone released?

The only rule I follow is if I need it, I buy it. If I buy it, then a new one is sure to be released, and if I return one thinking a new one to come out, then it is sure to not come out.

I just don't think anyone knows a thing, or can forecast what Steve will do. Apple has gotten into the habit of not announcing at big shows, sometimes they announce before, sometimes after. Oh, and have you heard anything from the FCC? It is less than a month from the big show, and not a leak to be heard. Except rumor, rumor and more rumor.

I will take a pass on the 3G phone, because ATT is still not ready to bring them out. I am in a major suburb of Chicago, and I have no 3G coverage, and until ATT fixes it, it just isn't worth getting the phone. Maybe by the end of the fall ATT will finally be able to ready for the new phone.

Go ahead and return the phone, just prepare yourself for a long wait, if you are in the States, because it could be one. Or not.
