iPod Touch and USB 2.0

I was just wondering if anyone has tested the iPod Touch on a USB 1.0 configuration. I have both on my computer, but I have found that my older iPods worked with the older USB connection. It wasn't nearly as fast as with the USB 2.0 but it still did charge and transfer files. I'm just curious.

I dont think that iTunes will pick up a Touch on a 1.1 connection, can anyone confirm that? If it picks it up, it will be very slow!
