So guys I forgot my passcode for my ipod touch. I lost it the day I bought it and just found it and now have a new computer. I thought I would be able to simply restore the ipod to factory settings and then just load my music/video/ect. back on it but without typing in my passcode...iTunes wont allow any access to the ipod touch...how can I restore my iPod back to factory settings without knowing my passcode? thanks a lot...reply to this thread/ pm me/ or e-mail me at CubFanNation@yahoo.com
peace

Per this Apple support doc (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212), you'll need to force restore your iPod Touch which will wipe everything.
1. Turn off your iPod Touch (hold down the top button and use the red slider)
2. Hold down the home (front) button and keeping hold it - don't let go
3. Plug in your USB cable
4. Your iPod Touch should start up (white Apple screen) - keep holding the home button
5. After it finishes starting, you should see an iTunes logo with a cable and arrow. You're now in force/emergency restore mode and you can let go of the home button.
Now restore...
just alter that link so that the bracket isn't included :D
