Dock extender

Hi guys. I was looking to buy the SendStation Dock Extender http://www.sendstation.com/us/products/dockextender/ to use with the iHome iH9 that I was going to add to my birthday list. I still have to drop into my Apple store and try to put my Touch with my case in the dock to see if it will fit properly, (which I dont think it would) but I still have to check. Not sure if they will like me playing with their samples but I want to make sure it will work before I have my family drop $100 on it. Any thoughts?

Unless u have a really thick case it should work fine if u just remove the dock adapter from the ih9, works with my case. U just have to be a bit more careful because u lose the support.

I see, I have Countour iSee case and its pretty thick, and it has those rubber stoppers and they have to fold back to use the dock connector, so thats why I thought it wouldnt work that well. I still have to drop into my local Apple store and try to dock my Touch into the sample iH9. I really want to leave the adapter in so it still stands up. If I get that extender it comes with this thing for the Touch to lean on so I still have to go to the Apple store and see if it fits. If not, my Dad said I can order it so we will see.

i use the Speck Toughskin, which is pretty thick. works fine with that. and you dont have to worry about the lack of support, as it comes with a dock insert which includes a support.
