Bought my iTouch in March .... update? games?

I've had my 8 gig iTouch since March. I just learned that there is a january update and you can add games to your iTouch. Is there a link anywhere that can help explain how to get everything up to date? I've heard that you can get lyrics with the update and other things, but that it costs 19.99?? But then I read somewhere that if you purchased your itouch after january then the update is free? Then, I saw a youtube video of a guy with tetris, fifa, mario and other games on his itouch. Need to jailbreak my itouch? I dont know how to do all this. Any help with these would be appreciated

Do you have the google maps, stocks, and other apps? If so, your touch already has the January update. If you bought it in March, it should, unless it was older stock. If it doesn't, yes, it is 19.99. Your touch should have been discounted by $20 if it didn't have the update.

If you want those games you refer to, you must Jailbreak, which I admittedly know very little about.

Download iLiberty+, jailbreak, install more games than you can shake a stick at. :-)
