Just bought the ipod touch 2 days ago. Got it plugged into the computer, got it registered on iTunes. Nothing shows on screen. Okay--so I'm missing something somewhere-- but what do I do. If I press the button on the lower end, I do get a picture of the USB and an arrow pointing to a cd w/a musical note. It shows charged. Thanks for help on the learning curve---Janet:)

That cord pointing to the cd ( that cd is the iTunes logo btw) and what it wants you to do is connect it to your computer with the latest version of iTunes which you can download via Apples website. The problem is you said you've already connected it to your computer. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes.

Guess I just did something out of sequence. Thanks--even though I had to copy your post into a word file because of all the ads on the right screen---so what! It did the trick. J
