I have had two Capdase flip-top leather cases now, and while I can't fault the quality of the case itself, the quality of the clip is a different story. I am admittedly a bit rough on the cases, wear them on the belt et al, and the clips can't keep up with me. I had the clips or clip fixture break on both cases within less than 3 months. So Capdase is pretty much off my shopping list.

Unfortunately those are pretty much the best cases I can get in this country, when it comes to belt cases (and that's what I need). I saw a few el cheapo cases around but they had bad fit and were of lesser workmanship. So it looks like I may have to resort to importing something. What I want is a leather case with a sturdy belt clip or belt sling that fits the iPod classic 80GB and can handle day to day usage. Any recommendations?

What I am looking for is a case that does not hinder the click wheel, I can have some screen protection, and can clip to my belt.

Summer is coming and I can not continue to keep my iPod in my coat pocket because soon I will not wear a coat but it is amazing how many cases are sold with no belt clip.

I ordered a DLO hipcase made from leather has a belt clip. I seen the Touch version but it seems like nobody want to carry the Classic version.

Hope it works.
