help fast just washed out my ipod and i need help on how to get it going agin

Don't turn it on without allowing it to fully dry. Some common suggestions for helping it to dry out:


place it in warm (but not hot) location
place it in a bag of rice (which will help absorb moisture)
place it with a bag if silica (same effect as above)

It is rare for people to report that their iPod comes through contact with water unscathed. :p Good luck.

You and I can sit together on the lame couch because I did the SAME THING today! Basically I'm doing what was suggested.

I have a former iPod that got caught in a freak rainstorm and it still works, just no video. I also have a 2nd gen Nano that has a broken screen. I guess this one may join the Island of Misfit iPods. I still use both of them. One plays music on my pillow (I listen to music while I sleep), the other sits in my iHome. I actually played with the old Nano tonight to figure out how to get the Nike+ to work with it by counting the clicks of the wheel and got that going, so at least if the Nano works but doesn't have a screen, I can still use it for that.

Makes me SO mad that I did that...grrr.
