There's probably an answer to this question, but darned if I can find it. About 15% of the 3300 songs transfered by iTunes to my new iTouch are incomplete, meaning that the song file is intact on iTunes but not on iTouch. I have "restored" the iTouch, changed USB cables, and ports, but to no avail. I have also replaced the iTouch on the slim chance that its disk drive was faulty.
What is causing this sync (file transfer) problem, and how do I correct it.

Ummm... I don't think that's answering his question, since that tool is just designed to move music/videos off your iPod Touch. Not sure why you bothered posting that...
If you search the forums here, several people have had issues with incomplete/corrupted transfers. It appears to be due to some incompatibility between the new iTunes USB driver for the iPod Touch and certain USB chipsets/drivers. The best workaround I've seen has been to pick up a cheap USB PCI card and use that for syncing.
