Does anyone know the maximum number of smart playlists supported by iTunes and the iPod Touch?

One of my primary uses of my iPod Touch is to listen to Old Time Radio. I created one Smart Playlist for all of my unheard Old Time Radio shows, but when it got to over a hundred entries it wasn't easy to use. So, I want to create Smart Playlists for each series I listen to. Before I take this approach, I want to verify that I won't have any problems if I create 200 to 250 Smart Playlists.

I'm not sure - I did see this post of a user with over 1000 playlists, although I'm assuming they're not all smart playlists. http://forums.ilounge.com/showthread.php?t=187804

Glad to see I'm not the only one listening to OTR on my iPod Touch :D Got mine loaded right now with Jack Benny, Phil Harris, GI Jive, Burns & Allen, Abbott & Costello, and the Lux Radio Theatre :) Who needs iTunes with a ton of OTR out there...

I'm sure there is some limit, imposed if by nothing else by the number of list items that can be allocated to the iPod's available volatile memory, but I doubt it's anything any reasonable human will reach. FWI, I've got about 60 largely interdependent smartlists on a 2G nano (and had another 10-20 at different times), that's only about a quarter of what you're considering, but it's the most I've personally had on a single iPod.
