I have a 80GB Toshiba ZIF hard drive from an 80GB iPod Classic. It is in perfect working condition and will only require a restore/reformat in your iPod to get it working.
The 80GB drives from the 5.5 gen iPod Video are thicker and sell for over $120 on eBay. This is the newer, thinner drive. Notice the Apple logo in the picture.
