Perplexing Peggle Probs--Poor Player!

Sorry for the title--sometimes I can't help it. I blame--uh --Britney Spears......

Anyway, on to the problem: I bought Peggle when it was launched and have played the game an embarrassingly high number of times. It's caused a freeze a couple of times before, but always loaded after a reset. Now, however, it freezes during the load and will not load at all after a reset. I thought the iTunes update might help, but no.

Thoughts? Has the file simply become corrupt? I can play the other games (Brain Challenge and the pre-loads) fine.

Any insight appreciated. Come to think of it, I've cleared nearly every level and mastered almost all the challenges, so it's no great loss--still, it's irksome.

I'm not at my Ipod's computer so I don't know if this will work. Could you uncheck to Peggle game and resync the Ipod. That would maybe remove it, the check it and resync again.

I love Peggle, but I think it's giving me carpel Thumb (0r some other over use syndrome).

That worked! Thanks. I switched to manual mode first, obviously, but re-synch worked fine. The only problem is that I lost all progress, but that's a small trade-off.

I'm glad it worked. i will have to remember that fix if I ever need it. Good way to reset lousy scores.:D

Excellent point and well made! I can now go back in "Adventure Mode" and put up some more impressive scores--y'know: for the ladies...... :rolleyes:

Still, I can't help but love this friggin' game. Nearly 40 and still playin' w/ gadgets...... :D

This solves the problem but it keeps coming back for me. I've had it freeze three times now. Once I beat all of the challenges and am almost finished getting ulta on all of the levels (under quick play), Peggle freezes on my 80 gb ipod classic. Please fix this bug, Pop Cap!
