wallpaper and mail issue on ipod touch

guys I have 2 problems k I just restored my ipod touch a few days ago after I held down the home and reset button for too long because of a crash so now I'm back at 1.1.4 with the iphone apps unjailbroken and now when I change my wallpaper it dosent change and stays with the earth wallpaper also when I access the mail app it launches for just a few secs and then It goes back to the home screen. Is there anyway to get these issues fixed? Plz reaspond.

i had the same problems on 1.1.3 once... just go back to 1.1.1 and do all that stuff again... it should work then ;P at least it did for me^^

Or rejailbreak with iLiberty+ or ZiPhone on 1.1.4...
