I'm considering buying a Touch in the not too distant future. I'm wondering if it's got iTunes or something similar in it for listening to Internet Radio stations? And is there a way to listen through Safari? That would kind of clinch it for me since I could have my music and my fav internet radio stations to boot.

Well, through Safari you can use FlyTunes - www.flytunes.fm
If you jailbreak, you can use iRadio (which has a variety of streaming stations) or MobileScrobbler (which uses Last.fm to give you customized playlists).

Can't you just go to the radio station web site through Safari?

No because those sites use flash players and the Touch does not have flash support yet.
Yet? the fight between Adobe and Apple is heated at the moment - it may never turn up.

And I'm thinking most radio station websites use something along the lines of Windows Media Player or Real Player. And aren't straight up Mp3 Streams, The ideal situation would be access to the radio button in iTunes through the touch, since that's where I do the majority of my listening anyway. Flytunes is nice, though. I was thinking of something like ESPN radio or an NPR stream.
The other thing I find attractive about the Touch is the fact that it includes everything but the phone, which means it could be used as a PDA if you wanted to (which I do). And if I like the Touch well enough, it may lead to getting an actual iPhone once my T-Mobile contract is up.

I believe that ESPN has released an iPhone/iPod Touch friendly version with media content - I think it's here - http://sports.espn.go.com/espnradio/podcast/iphone/index
Companies are coming out with new content for the iPhone/iPod Touch all the time...

Nice! I tried ESPN Radio.com on a touch at the Apple Store, and no dice on their player. But if they come out with a compatible player for it that'd be ideal so I can listen to Bob Valvano overnight weekends.

I'm also thinking flytunes would add ESPN Radio before too long. That would stop me from ever going back to satellite radio.
there are websites for radio but without that u cant listen to it
