Well I have no idea what the hell is wrong with this thing. It is a white 1st gen 4gb Ipod nano. The screen has gone completely blank not even the backlight works. It seems as though the unit itself works, you can hear the click wheel sound and I can see it in my computer when I plug it in. Before this happened it was a perfectly working nano. I popped it open to make sure the connection from the lcd to the board was fine and it is, so I am lost. I even bought a new lcd and put it in and still nothing. I just went out and bought a new one because to me this is useless and I do not have the ability or resources to fix this one. If anyone wants to take it off my hands for $15 shipped in the US I will let ya have it. You can PM me if you want and we can workout the details. Thanks,
