Why is the iPod so popular many ask. To really answer that question one has to know about Apple, the company and its mercurial leader, Steve Jobs.

Interesting Fortune article on Steve Jobs (http://money.cnn.com/2008/03/02/news/companies/elkind_jobs.fortune/index.htm). Mostly has to do how he runs Apple and what investors may have to worry, or be excited about. His 2004 illness and Stock Option backdating.

What Makes Apple Golden (http://money.cnn.com/2008/02/29/news/companies/amac_apple.fortune/index.htm), another Fortune article of interest.

I'm glad he didn't die, but he should start treating other human beings with a bit of respect or his Buddhism might end up down the drain.

I am starting to think that Apple might end up like Chrysler and Lee Iacocca, when Iacocca was at Chrysler it was making money he left the Company went downhill, they brought him back Chrysler went up, he left again and Chrysler has been going down since, if and when Jobbs leaves Apple it just might start to go downhill as well.
