Can anyone help? I have a 98 pontiac bonneville with a sony CDX-C480 HU. It used to be connected to a cd changer but we recently took the changer out. Is it possible for me to simply connect the mini ipod to the rca in plugs that were previously used for the changer or do i have to buy other components ???

dude you need to search before you ask a question. remeber this fourm has "solutions" in the title and you definitely aren't the first to ask that question.

Pnkrck83- you're right- I think people post very specific questions to get a very specific detailed answer. the problem is, everyone is different. you need to actually do some research- as in leg work to find the right solution for each individual issue. it's so easy to ask what works with x car and x head unit. these solutions require some blood, sweat and tears. Of course, unless u take it to a shop and hand them a blank check. :)

Although I agree, sometimes specific questions are needless, the whole point of this forum (in my opinion) is to help other people. Otherwise, why are you guys on here?

To answer the question...yea, you can use the RCA inputs to connect, if there was already an adpater in your headunit. Otherwise, you'd have to buy one. Check out the BlitzSafe or go to rcainput.com

Go buy a Sony XA-300 aux-in adapter. Check Ebay.
