I'm a new ipod touch owner and a big selling point was the new sdk softare that would be coming out so I won't have to unofficially hack my ipod to get fun stuff / games / useful programs.

I know the kits were released in february but where can I actually download some programs? I was just checking itunes and didn't see any links to any new software downloads.

Side question: The game where you can draw different shapes and a ball has to get from point A to point B - what it's called? And will they be developing an "official" release of it with SDK so I don't have to jail break?

If anyone has any recommended downloads of a fun / addictive / useful downloads (if there are any available) that would be very helpful.

Dave

Well, first some clarification - the SDK are just the tools for developers to create applications. There are no new applications released yet and they won't be until June when the new version of the firmware is released (which will be a paid upgrade).

Regarding, the game, you're probably talking about iPhysics. Search for it on YouTube to see how it looks. No idea if they are planning to port it. Maybe not since some say it's a take off of Crayon Physics which is obviously a copyrighted game.

No downloads - only web apps - unless you jailbreak or until the new firmware version is released.
