Crazy Shuffling!

I do not want my touch to be on shuffle, but it shuffles nonetheless. I have tried everything. Does anyone have any tips on turning off the shuffle function for good or at least until I request it?

In the now playing screen tap once to bring up the controls.

there should be a blue shuffle icon, make sure its silver and not blue.
