Is the EXSPECT protector from HMV any good?

Not tried the Exspect, but if I were you I'd look at the Proporta or I-nique screen protectors on Amazon UK. Both get decent reviews from users.

Forgot to mention: I-nique have a shop on Ebay UK too. I've still got the original (factory) screen protector on my touch, but I'm about to buy the I-nique one on Ebay. It covers the full front of the touch, not just the screen area (like the one I got with the Belkin Folio case (which I didn't bother putting on)).

Are there really any differences?

I think irockanipod is referring to quality.

Cheap ones are usually tricky to apply, can leave lots of bubbles, scratch heavily, and need replacing after only a couple of months use. Some don't have crystal clear opacity and so degrade the view of your screen.

Always best to check the user reviews of any protector before you buy IMHO.
